Cleaning and taking care of your garments.
- We only wash our garments if absolutely necessary - we prefer to spot clean or hand wash and line/flat dry.
- We only recommend dry cleaning if absolutely necessary and usually we find the old fashioned way of soaking or spot cleaning with baking soda and lemon or white vinegar works brilliantly. This is not only kinder to the delicate fabrics but also to our precious environment.
- True vintage and delicate garments (true vintage is authentic clothing from the first half of the 20th century) in particular antique silk, should be stored folded and boxed in acid free tissue paper.
- If you must hang them, then ideally on satin padded hangers in moth proof bags.
